This park is open daily until dark contrary to the hours posted on Google maps. Walk way and parking are wheelchair friendly. Mostly brick pavers. While the inclines on the trail are modest for walkers they are rather steep for someone in a wheelchair without assistance.
Excellent small state park Battlefield. A brick paved walk loops the park. Limited markes. Very popular with local walkers. No restrooms. Small but ample parking lot.
A small section of battlefield preserved that has a lot of interpretive signs. Well kept and has a short walking trail under a half mile. Small parking lot with several spots.
Very small but historic park. Well maintained with vast amounts of information posted for you to brush up on what happened here. Not a quiet park. You have busy traffic on two of the four sides. If you are looking for a peaceful walk, go elsewhere.
Very small park, takes less than 30 minutes to walk the trail AND read all the markers. Bordered by two major roads the park is noisy from the traffic. We'll maintained brick walkways and grounds. Only 7 parking spaces in the park. Still a pleasant place to take a break in the city.
This is a terrific little park with a short but lovely interpretive trail with very helpful and poetically written interpretive signs. The Battle of Ox Hill is where Union Generals Stevens and Kearny fell, and the signage well conveys the drama and tragedy of the battle. It takes only about 15 to 20 minutes to complete the trail, and is well worth the effort. You’ll learn a lot in a short time and may feel thoughtful and moved when you’ve done it.
Very short walk around a battlefield. There is a brick walkway and much information about the battle.Plenty of parking available.
Nice small park with history plaques explaining the battle on ox road. Dog friendly. Rarely crowded. Some parking spots on site
